To keep your HVAC system running efficiently, it's important to have it serviced at least once a year. However, if you have an older system or if you use it frequently, you may want need to have it replaced entirely. 

 We don’t recommend installing your AC unit yourself. You could end up damaging the equipment and having to buy a new one, so you should hire a professional instead. 

 If your air conditioner is giving you trouble, like frequent repairs, soaring energy bills, or inconsistent cooling, it might be time for a new unit. Additionally, if your AC is over 10-15 years old, a replacement could be more cost-effective. 

 A furnace heats air and then distributes it throughout your home using ductwork. It does this by burning fuel or using electric elements to warm the air, which is then pushed through the ducts by a blower.
